River sand, also known as natural sand, is a naturally occurring granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles, extracted from riverbeds and banks.

Properties:

1. Fine to medium grain size (0.06-2.0 mm)

2. High silica content (60-80%)

3. Low silt and clay content (<5%)

4. Moisture content: 5-10%

5. Specific gravity: 2.5-2.7

6. Bulk density: 1.5-1.8 t/m³
